Mortal KombatMonday, November 13, 2006And so I am up at 6.04am on a Monday. I have lectures starting at 9am and I haven't slept. I've been listening to Ministry of Sound Sessions Mixed by Steve Angello and planning my week. This is psychotic and I am one insomniac maniac. Friday was good. Laura and I finally had our Clarke Quay dinner after 2321735732 months. After walking around for a bit, we finally settled down for Bayang, a Balinese Restaurant. Sorry no photos. We took quite a while to choose what we wanted, but we ended up with BBQ Fish, Crispy Duck and Jasmine Rice. We each had a glass of red wine to go along. I made a really long toast (which according to Laura, was more of a speech) on our friendship. We indulged in each other's stupidity. Oh my God, we were seriously stupid that night. If it wasn't her it was me, and if it wasn't me, it was her. You should've seen the look on her face when we left the restaurant. The moment we stepped out she started giggling to herself. How psychotic! ![]() Yeah she looked a bit like that. Then it was off to Nicole's party at Club Home. We were there pretty early, so we just hung out and stuff. Then it picked up after I came back (I left to find an ATM Machine). Everybody was getting it on and yeah as usual, I had too many drinks. I remember having a Flaming Lamborghini! Ahh yes it was a good night. My sister is finally back from Australia, and so is the camera! Hoorah! And I just got my tee from Jolenelast night. God, I can't believe how random this entry is. I searched through my old games after writing the previous post, and found one of my all-time favourite game, Mortal Kombat 4! Ahh yes, after playing it alone against the computer for so long, I managed to influence another soul to play it - Putri. Warning: In the next few paragraphs, you may not comprehend what I'm about to say. Actually, you don't have to. I'm going to sound like a gamer, so brace yourself. ![]() Of course I won Putri most of the times, but she only won like, once or twice. I don't blame her; she's new. She will one day become a strong warrior and win over my reign as supreme warrior. Being Shinnok, the fallen elder God, is like an advantage to me. He can become any other warrior in Mortal Kombat, and use their powers as though it was his own. Wahahaha. ![]() This is Shinnok's Fatality! It's called the Two Hand Clap, whereby he will open a portal and summon two hands. The opponent is levitated and then the hands clap and err, well, you know the rest lah. More screenshots.. ![]() How can anyone not like the game/movie/comic/story!? It's so damn interesting. Even Putri is hooked on it! (but she still loses)
Halloween de Paris Cheque PresentationSaturday, November 04, 2006Don't mind the title, it's just a combination of the events that has passed the past week. Just an overview about what's been happening. Pop @ The Fort, Halloween Parties, Ngee Ann Kongsi Cheque Presentation, and Notre Dame de Paris. School's got me really busy again, but not as much as last semester! I'm really beginning to love this semester more. Things are slowly picking up now, in all aspects. And I appreciate all your comments from the last post. (: ![]() This year, Halloween falls on 31st November, which is a Tuesday. The celebration was on 28th, Saturday. Woo Michelle, Reina, Jun Wei, Tas and I went to Ministry of Sound on that day to celebrate Halloween. I ended up using last year's costume again. No I am NOT Darth Vader, I am the Dark Sith aka Darth Sidius. Michelle and Reina were Twin Tongue Monsters of some sort, Jun Wei was a Vampire with no Vampire Teeth, and Tas was just a fugly monster. ![]() The music that night at MoS was superb. They were playing trance the whole night at Main Arena. The whole place was fucking packed. Every room was fucking packed. Smoove was the worst though. You can't even walk properly without getting groped (for the ladies). Seriously, I don't understand why people would even go to MoS for RnB. MoS is supposed to be for, well, Electronica in general, plus all the other great genres. Sad that majority of Singaporeans like RnB. Try Cube, they play RnB all night long. =/ ![]() See? Crazily crowded. That's the Main Arena by the way. Not many people were really dressed up, and that was sad, seeing how it's supposed to be a Halloween Night. MoS was opened until 5.30am that day, probably because of the overwhelming crowd! We got a bit bored after a while though, so at around 2am, we left for Zouk! Gosh, the party there looked more happening. So many people were dressed up, and a lot of them were really good! So many different costumes okay! It was hilariously crazy! Probably because if you were picked, you'd get to win tickets to Berlin, or something like that. ![]() Even Mario has to leave his zone and come out to party! ![]() Bloody scary (pun intended). ![]() Scorpion from Mortal Kombat was there too! And I, the Dark Sith, killed him with my bare hands! Err yeah.. Did you know that I was an avid fan of Mortal Kombat? I found them like, really cool and shit. They had powers that were awesome, like Sub-Zero had the power of ice, Scorpion was just, lethal, and Reptile had a Reptilian mouth, and can become invisible and shit. I wonder what happened to the movie. They had two, then they discontinued it. Damn. We didn't know the free entry with full costume was only until 1am. We didn't wanna pay for cover, so we decided to cab back to MoS. Back at MoS, it was still alive and kicking. I made friends with a few shufflers who'd always be at the same corner every week. zomg, that's damn cool. They were like, damn pro. Some of them were from Melbourne, while the others went over to study and came back. Cool shit. I got two of their names, one's Amy and the other one's Jin or something like that. I might've gotten the girl's name wrong also. =/ ![]() He stole my lightsabre. Naw. After MoS, we left for Al Azhar for breakfast, after which we went home! Whaao. And the following Sunday, I had driving lesson. Haha. I've thinned and trimmed my hair and now I look quite, funny. I don't know, I prolly miss my old hair. It's been a week now and I'm sick of it. I'm going to get another hair cut soon, really. On Monday, there was the Ngee Ann Kongsi Cheque Presentation, and I, along with 9 other Ambassadors, signed up for duty. We had to wear the school blazer, tie and pin, and look all smart and stuff. We had to usher those VIPs in and basically, make them feel welcomed. I'm not gonna say much, but it was definitely a new experience for me because I've never done ushering for an official school event in my entire life. How interesting! (: Back in the Ambassadors room, we were all fooling around, taking photos with the camera, before we actually kept our blazers. We needed to bring it back to SS Office (I don't know what that SS stands for, maybe Students Services?). If you wanna see them, you can always view my Photo Pages. Alright, now I'm just filling up space so that I can start on a new event that's taken place. Maybe I shouldn't have put this photo at the side here like that, it's so troublesome and stuff, having to take up space so that the whole entry won't look funny. Grr. Okay I've still got a few more lines to go to fill up this face. It's so retarded, I swear. You know I think I should've done this double spacing thing earlier so that it'd fill up so much faster. Yeah I'll do this. HOORAH! And I'm done. Once again, it's Halloween. After Friday, Lucas decided to hold a Halloween Party at Aloha Changi on Halloween, 31st October! What more, the Chalet was directly opposite of Old Changi Hospital! How apt! We wanted to like, go to Old Changi at 3am. Hmm.. ![]() That's Rui Ming, my very random but good friend in Mass Comm, wearing my costume. I must say, he looks more like a fusion of Yoda and a Hobbit. Heh. Cool, look there's a ghost around him. Hohoho. Did I tell you that the Chalet is There's like (from what I remember) 4 bedrooms, a bigass living room, a dining room, 3 toilets and a kitchen. The kitchen has like a big super freezers, you know like the ones at ECP 7-11 where they keep their ice, yeah that kind, and a fridge. And there're 3 doors to get out of it. It's a Yatch Club Bungalow actually. ![]() Oh no Rui Ming. That is, very, gay. So people started drinking, and people got drunk. Some started to see some things that others don't, and some started to fly on the road. Some started to bite each other, while some ate instant noodles. Some saw unnatural beings, and some still saw supernatural beings. ![]() ![]() ![]() Okay sorry, I just got really bored after a while. . . . . . . . ![]() ![]() Putri and I went for the Gala Premiere of the World's Best Musical, Notre Dame de Paris on Friday. We arrived at about 6.45pm and walked down the Red Carpet into the Reception area. We were ushered into a room with some of the Ambassadors and MediaCorp Artistes. We saw people like Jonathan Leong, Phyllis Quek, Patricia Mok, and more. We had a nice time in the Reception area, indulging in the divine bite-sized appetisers and wine, after which, we were ushered to our seats in the Indoor Stadium. The show was awesome. The songs, the lyrics, the way they projected the songs, were transcendent. You could actually feel the emotion that the character's trying to portray. Haha, I shall spare you the details of the Musical. (: Before ![]() Putri is wearing a white dress from Forever 21, 3-inch heels from Bangkok, a clutch from Bangkok, an orange/white pashmina from Indonesia, a pair of gold hoops and her Mom's Vintage Necklace from she-doesn't-know-where. (Poots: Isn't the necklace so pretttttty?) ![]() Adam is wearing an FCUK Shirt, grey faded straight cut jeans from Topman, a belt from Zara Men, a pair of old Chucks, and ear rings from Perlini's Silver. ![]() This is just uber gay. I swear I will not be caught looking like that in my life. LOL the whole name-what-you're-wearing-and-where-you-got-it-from sounds so much like Runway City; some community in Live Journal where they talk about what they wear everyday and stuff, and yes it's local. You can see some really nice outfits, and the occasional fashion disasters. God. After Do you know, if there were paparazzis taking our photos (which will never ever happened), I think Putri would look so much better than me. You know those pesky paparazzis will try and take the most unglam shot of you when you least suspect it. Why? Look. ![]() Tanya, the black woman. ![]() Shinnok, the fallen Elder God. So we managed to get home, and after that, both of us died at home. I forgot to mention that I had supper with Fauzi and his entire family. (: At like, 12.30am, we were still munching on Nuggets, Fries, and bitching about the NP people on the next table. Heh. ![]()
